"Bully, Are You One?"

The topic I am going to talk about is bullies. Have you ever been bullied before, or have you bullied someone? I have been bullied before and it’s not a good thing. When I think of the word bully, I think of a really mean person. The bully always bosses people around and tells them what to do. Bullies also make fun of people, like the way they dress or look.

One of my classmates at school always gets made fun of by how short she is and also because she has crooked teeth. She always feels so bad and stupid and she never wants to show her face in school. At lunch she always sits alone because she has no friends to laugh with, talk to, or to tell secrets to. So one day my friend and I went up to her and asked if she would be our friend. She looked up from her lunch tray and smiled at us and said, “Yes”. My friend and I felt so happy that she was happy and now had two great friends. Ever since that day we asked her to be our friend, she has been a lot happier. Finally, the bully stopped bullying her and everyone was so happy.

Here is a short poem about bullying:
B-Bad person
U-Ugly
L-Low self-esteem
L-Liked by other bullies
Y-You are mean to people.

My action plan is if a bully was bullying me I would tell an adult. If a bully kept bullying me every day, I would tell a teacher or my parents.

My conclusion of the story would be to treat people the way you would want to be treated. If a bully is mean to you, just walk away.
