The
fourth annual Character's Cool Contest accepted entries from
January 1 - February 11, 2005. The Contest is an annual program
developed by the MindOH! Foundation to further character education
and empower youth to practice ethical behavior.
This
year's contest theme was bullying -- how youth can address
this cruel phenomenon by looking at the problem through the
eyes of the bully, the victim and the bystander.
The

All secondary school students (ages 11-18)
in the United States and Canada were eligible to enter.
Contest entries were accepted January 1
through February 11, 2005.
The MindOH! Foundation has compiled a list
of tips for educators to help make the Character's Cool
Contest successful on your school campus.
All participants are required to read and
accept the contest rules.
If you are an educator who facilitated students
entering the 2005 Character's Cool Contest, we would appreciate
a few moments of your time to
provide us feedback about your experience so we can continue
to improve and meet students' needs.
